Preferences

In this section, you will learn a group of preferences is available on sequence diagram popup menu.

Right click the sequence diagram, it will popup a menu, select Preferences.There are six functions are available

1. Show Sequence Numbers
   
2. Show Method names
   
3. Show User Label
   
4. Show Conditions
   
5. Modeling Assistants
   
6. Rulers & Grid
   

1. Show Sequence Numbers

This feature allows you to show sequence numbers or not

For example, if you select Show Sequence Numbers , it will shows sequence numbers on sequence diagram

2. Show Method names

This feature allows you to show method names or not

For example, if you select Show Method names , it will shows method names on sequence diagram

This feature allows you to show user label or not

For example, select Show User Label, it will show user label on sequence diagram

4. Show Conditions

This preference allow you to show conditions or not

For example, select Show Conditions, it will show conditions on sequence diagram

5. Modeling Assistants

This preference allow you to choose which modeling assistants appear on the sequence diagram when you edit diagram, two options are available:

• Show Popup Toolbar
• Show Connection handles

6. Rulers & Grid

Options are proposed to configure the diagram grid and ruler. Five options are available:

• Grid Enabled
• Grid Visible
• Ruler visibility
• Snap Enabled
• Advanced...

Select Advanced to choose several options at one time
